Hanold Hat Company was born in the fall of 2025 right here in Green Bay, Wisconsin — in a house filled with two ambitious daughters, one very patient mom, one creative dad, and one little pup.

Instead of hiding in a man cave, Chris took a different route. While the girls were deep into Hallmark movie marathons, he went all-in on a new hobby… and accidentally built a hat company.

Okay, okay…in reality it all started with another passion project: WIScamping — our family’s LLC focused on camping, community, and helping fellow adventurers find the best campgrounds Wisconsin has to offer. When it came time to create merch, we searched everywhere for hats that felt right. Cool. Different. Us. But nothing quite hit.

So we did what any curious, slightly stubborn Midwesterners would do — we decided to make our own.

With some local mentorship, a whole lot of trial and error, and an unhealthy obsession with details, things started clicking. Like… really clicking. Word spread. Hats started turning heads. And before we knew it, Hanold Hat Company was officially a thing.

Today, we’re all about bringing bold, unique, high quality hats to life — each one designed with purpose and personality. Around here, hats aren’t just accessories, they’re conversation starters.
